Meet Your Hosts

Josh Manning

Josh Manning

Josh Manning is the co-host of Seeded: Stories of Innovation where he spends his time complimenting (and sometimes complementing) David on getting the podcast written, produced, and edited. He has worked with some of the best and brightest across government and industry, and has realized they are all trying to figure out the same thing — what the hell does it take to be innovative?

Josh has spent a lot of time trying to address that question, especially to dispel the myth that innovation is reserved for the lone genius lightbulb moment or the bootstrapped silicon valley startup. He's the creator of the "How to Innovate" assessment where anyone can discover their unique Innovation Style and how to turn ideas into action with the Innovation Framework. Learn more at howtoinnovate.org. Josh currently lives in Denver, CO with his wife and dog where he is constantly trying to convince them to join him on his next crazy adventure!

David Miranda

David Miranda

David Miranda is the co-host of Seeded: Stories of Innovation. He also writes, produces, and edits our episodes (he's still learning, so don't be too mad). David has spent most of his career in the most innovative (and arguably coolest) organization in all of government: the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

At NASA he is currently the Deputy Chief of the Spaceport Technologies Office at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) where he leads a team of technologists developing the next generation of innovations that will expand humankind to the Moon and Mars. David currently lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife and daughter, where he enjoys D&D, miniature model building, comic books, and bike-riding.
